Abstract

Title thermosetting aminoplast resin contains pref. 0.1-1:1 wt.pts. of a polyamide of mole wt. 2000-12000 and m.pt. 50-150 (90-120) degrees C, and 3-50 wt.pts. of filler. Pref. the polyamide is of formula HO-(CO-R-CONH-R'-NH)n-H (where R and R' are both 25-35C hydrocarbon gps.). The filler is e.g. glass powder, CaCO3 or asbestos.
