Abstract

A set of roller mounted drums with loose perforated based is conveyed around a circular path inside a fixed frame by drive motors around the frame to travel intermittently actuated by a control system, and pass successively under a filling hopper, a levelling station, alternate pressing and stirring stations and an emptying station. The levelling station has a height adjustable rotating plate to prepare the grapes for the pressing stages, where the grapes are compressed by a ram, the juice passing through channels through a support plate underneath. The stirrer station has rotary flexible blades to agitate the contents of the drum.
