Abstract

Connection for fixing to end of a flexible tube, e.g. a drilling pipe of plastic or elastomeric material, esp. polyamide 11, has a first part surrounding the tube and having a conical boring, and a second tubular fixed to the first part and having a conical exterior surface. The boring and the conical surface have different conicities so that the compressive stress in the flexible material decreases linearly along the part of the tube compressed between the boring and the conical surface from a max. value, at the end of the tube, to nil.
