Abstract
The alloyed steels are produced using a circular degassing plant incorporating a receptacle for the steel with an inlet pipe in a gas line, and a separate discharge pipe. A water-cooled blow lance is employed which has a nozzle and is introduced into the receptacle vacuum-tight so that its axis is directed towards the steel in the vessel.
