Abstract

Compsn. contains a product formed by degradation of starch of viscosity, in 10% aq. soln., 250, pref. 50, esp. 25 cP. Natural starch in aq. soln. or suspension is submitted to the action of oxidants and etherifying agents to the required degree without isolating intermediates. Other washing constituents are added and the mixture is spray-dried. Adjuvants are biodegradable and have low viscosity.
