Abstract

Composite panels comprising two stiff sheets sepd. by spacer blocks to enclose corrugated or undulating cardboard where the crowns of the ridges are anchored to adhesive coatings on the inner faces of the sheets. Pref. the interstitial space accommodates a thermal/acoustic insulating layer, pref. expanded polystyrene between two zones of corrugated cardboard. Pref. the sheets and spacers are of block board or particle board. Pref. the sheets are clad with PVC. Panels are joined by clamping against suitable section spacer blocks. For mfr. of prefabricated panel sections for partitions which are lightweight and suitable for dry erection/assembly.
