Abstract

The suction nozzle connected to the suction pipe of an apparatus for drawing away particles of dust and fibre residue from the weft insertion unit of a shuttleless loom with weft yarn stock bobbins outside the weaving zone and drive for the insertion unit synchronised with the main drive shaft, is situated in the neighbourhood of the outer reversal point of the clamp-yarn gripper on the side of a rearwardly placed gripper part, while the weaving side boundary of the suction nozzle aperture lies centrally between the forwardly projecting and rearward gripper points when the gripper is at its reversal position.
