Abstract

A pre-fabricated U-shaped housing for a roller blind of expanded polyurethane moulded in one piece and reinforced in the mass and/or by adding lateral panels so as to provide an increased moment of inertia. The housing cna be pre-fabricated and has a sufficient moment of inertia to avoid the need forr a lintel above the opening to support masonary. The housing may be provided with metal longitudinal beams extending beyond the lateral walls of the housing so that they can be embedded in the conceret side walls. A further reinforcement consisting of a perforated corrugated metal sheet embedded in the foamis included.
