Abstract

Cancer treatment insoluble gels Title process comprises insolating or destroying the cancerous tissue by encapsulating the tissue within or diffusing the tissue throughout with an insoluble gel. The gel renders the tissue impermeable to oxygen and nutrients. A polymerisable monomer and a catalyst esp. an acrylamide, N,N'-methylenebis-acrylamide, a polycarboxylic acid, or polyamine are used.
