Abstract

Wall or ceiling panelling is moulded from a mixture of exfoliated phlogopite mica platelets, expanded clay and a silicate or polyester binder or a cement to obtain a material harder and more scratch resistant than plaster, yet less than half as dense (weighing 25-35 kg/m2 for panels 5-14 cm thick).
