Abstract

The paints contain as binding agents emulsion copolymers of (1) 9 to 20% wt. ethylene, (2) 2 to 12% wt. of the semi ester of a dicarboxylic acid using >=8C alcohol and (3) 58 to 77.9% wt. of a mixt. of 85 to 55% vinyl chloride and 15 to 45% of a vinyl ester of a 2 or 3C satd. carboxylic acid. The paints have high stability, do not readily form skins and the dried coatings have excellent mechanical and chemical resistance properties
