Abstract

Each viewer has a common input aperture and a number of lenses including an adjustable enlarging lens and their optical axes are parallel. The daylight viewer has two eyepieces which are spaced from one another, with an imaging apparatus secured to one eyepiece. Preferably a spectral divider is inserted in the path of the rays for the two viewers, the divider reflecting light in the visible spectrum and allowing the passage of light in the infra-red spectrum. The pivoting mirror can have a stabilising system and is adjusted in azimuth and elevation by two electric regulating means.
