Abstract

Method and device for making an electrical connection when joining ducting pieces in a ducting system for laying various types of telecommunication cables and for screening the site of the join between duct pieces, which duct pieces are manufactured as profiles of preferably metal and also preferably have a rectangular cross section. According to the method the duct pieces 1, 4, 7 are joined together using a joint fitting 12 which extends on both sides of the site of the join and which is screwed or pressed in some other way against the respective duct pieces, with a contact device 19 arranged between the respective duct pieces 1, 4, 7 and the joint fitting 12. In addition the site of the join is enclosed by a screening device comprising a clip 14, 15 which can be opened for fitting, which in its fitted position comprises at least one screening seal 26 going around the duct. <IMAGE>
