Abstract
A method for making a wear-resistant coating on a treatment blade (4), such as a coating or doctor blade, designed for the treatment of a paper web, in a treatment space, in which method the area to be coated is located at the edge of the blade, in which the treatment blade is coated with a diamond-like coating (DLC) by the PVD (PVD = Physical Vapour Deposition) method.
