Abstract
1. Apparatus for ensuring the separation of gas flows of different atmosphere in various sections (17, 19) of a furnace, characterized by means (22, 24, 25) for drawing off at least a portion of the gas flow of a first furnace section (17) directly in front of the other, second furnace section (19) and at least partly returning it via retur channels (25) into the side walls (12, 13) of the first furnace section (17) at an angle of 90 +/- 20 degrees to the original flow direction.
