CONSISTE EN LA NEUTRALIZACION, EN DISOLUCION DILUIDA, DE UNA SAL ACIDA O DE UNA SAL BASICA DE ALUMINIO, TAL COMO ALCL3, ALKSO4, AL2(SO4)3 O NAALO2, POR TRATAMIENTO CON UNA BASE O UN ACIDO ADECUADOS, RESPECTIVAMENTE; SEGUIDA DE CALENTAMIENTO A LA TEMPERATURA DE EBULLICION, DURANTE POR LO MENOS UNA HORA, DESPUES DE FILTRACION DE LA MEZCLA DE REACCION NEUTRALIZADA Y LAVADO DEL PRODUCTO FORMADO. EL HIDROXIDO DE ALUMINIO OBTENIDO SE SECA A UNA TEMPERATURA COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 20JC Y 40JC Y A CONTINUACION SE RESUSPENDE EN AGUA DESTILADA.
