Abstract

An armoured cable tube is divided into two axially separated sections, each of which is firmly attached to a first and a second ferrule, a separating compensating spring being provided between the second tube section and the first ferrule, in which is arranged an inclined plate with an opening through which the second ferrule is passed and the dimensions of which are slightly larger than the outside dimensions of the said ferrule. The plate 14 is held fast in an inclined locking position on a bearing surface of the first ferrule by a sliding piston which interacts with the end of the plate remote from the bearing surface and is pushed elastically by its own elastic element or by the separating spring itself.
