Abstract

An apparatus for cleaning lamps is characterised in that it is mounted on a platform provided with two edges having replaceable tyring and two base supports, said platform is provided in the rear section with a controlling bracket which can be folded down and serves, on the one hand, as a support for a high-pressure pump which sucks the cleaning liquid via a filter out of a reservoir situated above it and pumps it via a pressure hose pipe to a gun which sprays the liquid in the form of a fine jet onto a lamp, and on the other hand, it serves as a support for a fan which sucks off, via a hose, the liquid which remains behind together with air and is occluded in the hollows, recesses and niches of the lamp. Said hose discharges into a liquid trap with an emptying valve, from which point the air flows, after the liquid has been removed, via an insulating filter (sound-insulating filter) to the fan which pumps it through a second insulating filter and a pipe, provided with controllable electrical resistors to a hose which feeds it onto the lamp in order to dry the latter.
