Abstract

The invention relates to a frequency converter having a phase locked loop which includes a low pass filter (R1, R2, c). In order to speed the response when there is a drop in input frequency, the series arm of the filter (R1) is shunted by a series connected resistor (R3) and diode (D1) which reduce the time constant when the diode becomes conductive.
