Abstract
PROCEDIMIENTO Y DISPOSITIVO PARA EL ALMACENADO DE ENERGIA TERMICA A BAJA TEMPERATURA, BASADO EN UN CAMBIO DE ESTADO DEL AGUA, QUE PASA DEL ESTADO LIQUIDO AL ESTADO SOLIDO. EL PROCESO CONSISTE EN REFRIGERAR UNA MEZCLA DE AGUA Y OTRO LIQUIDO CUYO PUNTO DE CONGELACION A LA PRESION ATMOSFERICA ES INFERIOR A CERO GRADOS, MEDIANTE CONTACTO CON EL EVAPORADOR DE UNA MAQUINA FRIGORIFICA. LOS CRISTALES DE HIELO FORMADOS SON PEQUEÑOS Y NO SE SUELDAN ENTRE SI POR ESTAR ENVUELTOS EN UNA PELICULA DE DICHO LIQUIDO QUE LOS AISLA. EL APROVECHAMIENTO DE LA ENERGIA TERMICA ALMACENADA EN LOS CRISTALES DE HIELO SE REALIZA POR MEDIO DE UN INTERCAMBIADOR DE CALOR EXTERIOR. EL OTRO LIQUIDO UTILIZADO PUEDE SER ALCOHOL ETILICO, ALILICO, BENCILICO, BUTILICO, PROPILICO U OTRO ALCOHOL DE CARACTERISTICAS SIMILARES.
