SE HACE PRECIPITAR EL PIGMENTO DE OXIDO DE HIERRO AMARILLO, MEDIANTE LA ADICION DE UN CARBONATO METALICO, COMO CARBONATO MAGNESICO O CALCICO, EN PRESENCIA DE OXIGENO, A UNA SOLUCION DE UNA SAL FERROSA SOLUBLE, EMPLEANDOSE NORMALMENTE UNA SOLUCION DE CLORURO FERROSO RESIDUAL PROCEDENTE DE LA INDUSTRIA DEL ACERO. SE REALIZA A UNA TEMPERATUA COMPRENDIDA ENTE 10 Y 90 C. EN EL SISTEMA DE REACCION SE DEBE MANTENER LA ACIDEZ DURANTE LA PRECIPITACION, HACIENDO ASI ESTABLE AL PIGMENTO AMARILLO.
