SE OXIDA LA GLICERINA CON OXIGENO EN PRESENCIA DE GLICERINOXIDASA, OBTENIDA A PARTIR DE ASPERGILLUS SPC. DSM 1729, Y SE MIDE POLAROMETRICAMENTE EL CONSUMO DE OXIGENO, O BIEN SE DETERMINA ENZIMATICAMENTE. CON CATALASA O PEROXIDASA, EL H2O2 FORMADO. EL ASPERGILLUS SE CULTIVA EN UN MEDIO CELULAR HACIENDO EQUE ESTA SE DISGREGUE, SE SEPARE DE LA PORCION INSOLUBLE Y, ASI, LA GLIVERINOXIDASA SE PRECIPITA CON ACIDO TRICLOROACETICO CON ACETONA, UN FRACCIONAMIENTO CON SULFATO AMONICO Y UNA ABSORCION EN UN INTERCAMBIADOR DE IONES DEBILMENTE BASICO.
