PRIMERAMENTE EL MINERAL ES CALCINADO Y EL OXIDO DE MAGNESIO ASI OBTENIDO ES TRANSFORMADO EN UNA SOLUCION DE CLORURO DE MAGNESIO A TRAVES DE LEIVIACION CON DIOXIDOS DE CARBONO Y UNA SOLUCION DE CACL2. POSTERIORMENTE SE AÑADE A LA SOLUCION MGCL, CO2 Y NH3 Y SE PRODUCE LA PRECIPITACION DE TRIHIDRATO DE CARBONATO MAGNESICO. POR ULTIMO, ESTE COMPUESTO SE DESCOMPONE OBTENIENDOSE EL OXIDO DE MAGNESIO. PARA QUE SE PRODUZCA LA PRECIPITACION LA TEMPERATURA DE LA SOLUCION DEBE ESTAR COMPRENDIDA ENTRE 25-45GC Y A UN VALOR DE PH DE 7,5-8,5. E
