CONSISTE EN EFECTUAR ALGUNO DE LOS SIGUIENTES PROCEDIMIENTOS: 1) CONDENSACION EN PRESENCIA DE UN AGENTE CONDENSANTE DE UN AMINOACIDO O UN PEPTIDO QUE CONTIENE UN GRUPO CARBOXILO LIBRE CON UN COMPUESTO (AMINOACIDO, PEPTIDO O AMINA) QUE CONTIENE UN GRUPO AMINO LIBRE. 2) CONDENSACION DE UN AMINOACIDO Y PEPTIDO QUE CONTIENE UN GRUPO CARBOXILO ACTIVADO Y EN EL QUE OTROS GRUPOS REACTIVOS QUE CONTIENE UN GRUPO CARBOXILO ACTIVADO Y EN EL QUE OTROS GRUPOS REACTIVOS HAN SIDO OPCIONALMENTE PROTEGIDOS CON UN COMPUESTO (AMINOACIDO, PEPTIDO O ANIMA) QUE CONTIENE UN GRUPO NH2 LIBRE Y EN EL QUE OTROS GRUPOS REACTIVOS HAN SIDO OPCIONALMENTE PROTEGIDOS. 3) CONDENSACION DE UN AMINOACIDO O PEPTIDO QUE CONTIENE UN GRUPO CARBOXILO LIBRE CON UN COMPUESTO (AMINOACIDO, PEPTIDO O AMINA) QUE CONTIENE UN GRUPO AMINO ACTIVADO.
