Abstract

Una disposición de apoyabrazos ajustable en altura para un asiento que comprende un apoyabrazos o reposabrazos, un mecanismo de soporte que incluye un primer miembro de soporte para conexión al asiento y un segundo miembro de soporte conectado al reposabrazos, manteniendo el mecanismo a los miembros de soporte primero y segundo con una inclinación constante uno con relación a otro, caracterizada porque el mecanismo de soporte es un mecanismo de acción de paralelogramo que soporta el reposabrazos como una viga voladiza y que permite el movimiento relativo entre dichos miembros de soporte al tiempo que los mantiene con dicha inclinación constante uno con relación al otro, y tiene un acoplamiento manualmente operable para bloquear el mecanismo de soporte en una cualquiera deseada de una pluralidad de diferentes posiciones correspondientes a las diferentes posiciones del segundo miembro de soporte con relación a dicho primer miembro de soporte.
