Abstract

Un procedimiento para la obtención de una composición de clotrimazol con excelente actividad antifúngica, útil para uso externo constituida esencialmente por clotrimazol en crotamitón, un transportador o diluyente y otros aditivos opcionales; cuyo procedimiento comprende: a) disolver el clotrimazol en crotamitón; b) añadir a la solución procedente de la etapa anterior uno o más de los ingredientes siguientes: etanol o etanol que contiene menos del 40% en peso de propilenglicol, una disolución acuosa de un polímero de carboxivinilo, una sustancia oleosa, un surfactante no iónico y agua; c) cuando sea necesario, someter la composición procedente de la etapa anterior a reacción de neutralización con una sustancia básica para conseguir un pH de 4 a 10.
