Abstract
Procedimiento de tratamiento de minerales uraníferos, aplicable en particular a los minerales refractarios al ataque directo en pulpa por soluciones sulfúricas, caracterizado porque se impregna el mineral molido con una solución concentrada de ácido sulfúrico por una duración que no sobrepasa 30 minutos, siendo elegido el volumen inicial de solución aportado por unidad de masa de mineral para obtener un producto que tenga una consistencia sólida y siendo tal el contenido de ácido sulfúrico que se obtiene una acidez residual al final del ataque en pulpa comprendida entre 10 g/l y 40 g/l, se diluye el producto con una solución acuosa en pulpa espesa en la cual se prosigue el ataque durante una duración que no sobrepasa de 10 horas, a fin de acabar de solubilizar el uranio y se efectúa una separación sólido- líquido.
