Abstract
Aparato para la extracción por avance a contracorriente de productos que forman parte de materias sólidas por medio de un líquido, que consiste en un tambor rotativo cuyo eje es horizontal o ligeramente inclinado, provisto de un tabique interior sensiblemente en forma de helicoide, que incluye entre las espiras de dicho tabique elementos de elevación que elevan las materias sólidas fuera del líquido y las hacen pasar por encima de una pared transversal en forma de dique que detiene y rechaza el líquido a otra espira bajo el ejecto de la rotación del tambor, caracterizado porque al menos uno de los elementos de elevación presenta una curvatura tal, que en el curso de la rotación del tambor, las materias sólidas elevadas fuera del líquido se desmoronan progresivamente por fracciones sucesivas más allá del dique, sin deslizamiento sobre el elemento de elevación.
