Abstract

Un aparato seguidor de correlación para seguir a un objeto, que comprende un perceptor de imagen con un campo de visión limitado y dispuesto para explorar cíclicamente dicho campo de visión, y un correlacionador de video con dos memorias direccionables, una de las cuales tiene la función de almacenar en forma digital durante cada ciclo de exploración una sección del campo de visión, mientras que la otra memoria está dispuesta para ser actualizada con el contenido de la primera memoria, estando dispuestos dicho correlacionador de video para proporcionar, una vez que el preceptor de imagen ha sido alineado de manera que un objeto esta encerrado dentro de la sección, una señal de error que controla la alineación del preceptor de imagen con el objeto.
