Abstract

Un dispositivo de purificación del metal líquido de enfriamiento del centro de un reactor nuclear de neutrones rápidos, que comprende una envolvente calorifugada sumergida en el núcleo del reactor y suspendida de la losa de protección que se encuentra encima de éste, un tapón amovible dispuesto en dicha losa y que permite el acceso a la parte superior del interior de la envolvente, y en el interior de ésta, medios de refrigeración de una corriente de metal líquido detraída en el núcleo del reactor hasta una temperatura que asegura la solidificación de las impurezas, medios de filtración del metal líquido refrigerado, medios de calentamiento, a menos parcial, del metal purificado antes de su envío al núcleo del reactor, y una válvula de regulación del caudal de metal purificado devuelto al núcleo del reactor, caracterizado porque comprende medios de retorno a la parte superior de la envolvente del metal purificado que sale de los medios de filtración, medios de retorno al núcleo del reactordel metal purificado en cambio de calor con el metal a purificar en caudal regulado, estando dispuesta la válvula de regulación de dicho caudal en la parte superior de la envolvente.
