Abstract

Un aparato depurador de aire perfeccionado, de dos etapas, para separar de una corriente de aire las partículas sólidas en una gama de tamaños, que comprende, en combinación: un alojamiento en general cilíndrico alrededor de un eje que se extiende entre los extremos primero y segundo del mismo, que tiene una abertura de entrada lateral cerca de dicho primer extremo, una abertura de salida axial en dicho primer extremo, y medios de recogida cerca de dicho segundo extremo para recibir materia en partículas; medios de filtrado en dicho alojamiento para separar las partículas más pequeñas del aire, que tienen la forma de un tronco de cono circular con su extremo menor cerrado y dirigido hacia fuera de dicha abertura de salida y su extremo menor cerrado y dirigido hacia fuera de dicha abertura de salida; medios que soportan a dichos medios de filtrado coaxialmente en dicho alojamiento y medios de obturación que impiden el paso de aire a través de dicho alojamiento desde dicha abertura de entradaa dicha abertura de salida excepto a través de dichos medios de filtrado; todo ello para simultáneamente hacer máximo el tamaño disponible de dicha abertura de salida de modo que se disminuya la pérdida de carga en el depurador, y para hacer máximo el volumen del espacio contenido entre dicho alojamiento y dichos medios de filtrado en los extremos de los mismos alejados de dicha abertura de salida, para hacer óptima la recepción de materia en partículas en dichos medios de recogida.
