Abstract

Perfeccionamientos introducidos en un método de formar recipientes de vidrio de peso ligero por el procedimiento de doble soplado, en el que una gota o carga de masa de vidrio fundida a una temperatura elevada es entregada a un molde de parisones con un molde de cuello bajo el mismo y se aplica vacío al molde de cuello para asentar la carga alrededor de un pasador de cuello en el molde de cuello para formar el extremo del recipiente de vidrio, comprendiendo los perfeccionamientos contrasoplar suavemente la carga en el molde parisones para que tome la forma del molde de parisón y del deflector de cierre extremo, sin crear una fuerza de densificación entre la carga y el molde de modo que se evite formar un parisón que sea autoportante y mantener con ello el parisón con un revestimiento relativamente delgado, invertir y transferir el parison formado a un molde de soplado mientras se mantiene un cierto grado de presión dentro del parisón para mantener el parisón con aire incluido suficientemente apoyado para ser transferido sin aplastamiento.
