Abstract

Un método de medir la concentración de un fluido, cuya constancia dieléctrica depende de la concentración, caracterizado porque se suministran oscilaciones eléctricas de energía constante y frecuencia constante desde una fuente de tales oscilaciones a una antena montada en un recipiente para el líquido dentro de los confines de una jaula de Faraday formada en el recipiente y llena de fluido, y se mide la potencia de la señal reflejada desde la antena en caso de desviación respecto de la adaptación ideal de las impedancias de la antena y de la fuente, teniendo las oscilaciones eléctricas una frecuencia tan alta que la conductividad eléctrica no tiene influencia sustancial sobre el resultado de la medición.
