Abstract
Un procedimiento y su correspondiente aparato de regeneración de catalizador de cracking o destilación destructiva fluidizado, en el cual se pone en contacto un catalizador de cracking agotado contaminado por coque con un gas de regeneración que contiene oxígeno molecular, en condiciones de regeneración catalítica, para quemar sustancialmente todo el coque a partir de dicho catalizador agotado, produciendo un gas de regeneración consumido que comprende dióxido de carbono y monóxido de carbono y que se halla sensiblemente empobrecido en oxígeno, y un catalizador regenerado en caliente sustancialmente reducido en carbono residual idóneo para piezopirolizar o someter a cracking una carga de hidrocarburo en una zona de reacción.
