Abstract

Improvements made to a collector-type electric motor that includes a multiplicity of delgas fixedly mounted on a rotating shaft inside a casing having an end cap, the collector delgas having surfaces arranged in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the tree, these improvements characterized by consisting of: a) A multiplicity of brushes each made from a single piece of sheet metal, each brush including: (1) A first portion held at a point thereof on said end cap; (2) a portion connected at one end to said first portion and generally extending radially with respect to said end cap beyond said first portion; and (3) a contact formed at another end of said second portion, said second portion being bent angularly with respect to said first portion whereby said contact is applied elastically in a sliding manner on said surfaces of said collector slits; and b) a device located in said end cap to come into contact with each one of said brushes in order to maintain it by preventing its angular displacement around said point in said first portion thereof.
