Supporting structure of a cushion, forming a self-contained unit arranged to be elastically suspended from the frame of a seat, comprising a central support for cushion having longitudinally arranged lateral components and a plurality of cross elements arranged transversely between them, a peripheral frame located by on top of the cushion support and comprising wire parts arranged longitudinally and laterally, spaced with respect to the lateral longitudinal elements, and a plurality of elastic elements arranged between said lateral longitudinal components and the wire parts of the peripheral frame in order to support elastically to this with respect to the central support for the cushion, characterized essentially by the provision of a plurality of pairs of branched springs, each of which has a first section located between a lateral longitudinal element and a part of wire e peripheral lateral, and a second section that extends freely and laterally outwards from the repeated lateral longitudinal element and has a free end arranged to be in direct contact with the frame of a seat in which the support must be suspended to the cushion.
