Abstract

Una instalación mejorada para la fabricación de cemento, que comprende: un horno giratorio que tiene una o más tuberías de rociado fijas, dispuestas de manera que rocíen o pulvericen el clinker con un agente reductor, dentro del horno giratorio, inmediatamente antes de la descarga; medios para transportar el clinker calcinado fuera del horno giratorio, que comprenden un transportador superior y un transportador inferior, de los cuales el superior está situado junto a la salida del horno giratorio y está provisto de una o más tuberías de pulverización de agua para enfriar el clinker al mismo tiempo que se transporta y siendo el transportador inferior penetrable por el aire y estando situado en posición sustancialmente horizontal, por debajo del soporte de avance superior, para recibir el clinker parcialmente enfriado y transportarlo en una capa hasta un punto de descarga; medios para hacer pasar un flujo d aire transversalmente a través del transportador inferior y de la capa de clinker situada sobre el mismo; una caja que rodea a los dos transportadores y que está provista de aberturas para la admisión de clinker caliente desde el horno giratorio y para la descarga del clinker enfriado, así como de abertura para el suministro de aire de enfriamiento y para la descarga del aire de enfriamiento consumido; y medios para crear y mantener en la abertura de entrada, para el clinker caliente, una presión inferior a la atmosférica para evitar el paso de vapores de agua a través de la abertura al interior del horno giratorio.
