Abstract

Improvements in differential pressure actuated servo boosters, of the type comprising a load actuation element that is movable by induction of fluid differential pressure through a movable internal wall that divides the booster housing into at least two chambers of fluid, the movable wall having the shape of an elastic diaphragm supported by a deflector plate formed by a plurality of individual, radially directed rigid lugs, carried maintaining a mutually movable relationship, by a support device that maintains the lugs in circularly separated places with regularity and radially fixed to define, therefore, a radially grooved annular plate, and a support plate that is coaxially mounted on said reinforcing load driving element and that provides a support point, around which the plate baffle can be conically deformed during refo operation, characterized in that the periphery of the support plate has a plurality of straight edges or legions of edge, each of which defines a support point for one of the respective lugs of the deflector plate.
