Trailed tuber harvester machine having probe means to detect alignment between the harvester and a row of tubers being harvested, power means to move the axis of the application wheels to the soil of the harvester relative to the body of the harvester and a mechanism actuated by the probe means as they are applied to a row of tubers to supply power to said power means to thereby adjust the position of the application wheels to the ground in order to reduce the pressure between the row of tubers and the probe means to thereby correct the alignment of the harvester relative to the row of tubers.
