Abstract
915,930. Agricultural implements. INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER CO. Nov. 6, 1961 [Nov. 17, 1960], No. 39616/61. Class 6(1). The ground marker arms 9 of an agricultural implement are interconnected so that they are alternately swung into and out of an operative position when the tractor drawing the implement is turned, the arrangement being that both arms are in an inoperative position while the tractor is being turned and one of the arms moves into operative position when the turn is completed. As shown, the arms 9 are connected by a chain 13 to a lever 15 which is spring urged into two positions and is operated by a link 36 which is connected to a lever 37 on the tractor and is fastened to a bell-crank lever 31 the arm 31a of which is pivoted to a lever 39 having arms 38 which contact a pin 23 on the lever 15. The arrangement is such that when the tractor is turned the arm 38 holds the lever 15 so that both arms 9 are raised and when the tractor has completed the turn the appropriate arm 9 is lowered.
