Abstract
Procedimiento para la reducción de tubos por estirado en frío mediante matrices de estirado y eventualmente tapones flotantes dispuestos dentro de los tubos en la zona de las matrices, así como dispositivos estiradores de tubos montados detrás de las matrices, caracterizado porque los tubos recorren, en una pasad continua, sucesivamente , varias matrices de estirado dispuestas a una distancia una tras otra y dispositivos de estirado del tubo situados detrás de las respectivas matrices y accionados individualmente por motor eléctrico, siendo reducidos entonces escalonadamente cada vez a un diámetro menor, siendo accionados con velocidad escalonadamente mayor en cada caso los motores de impulsión asociados a los dispositivos estiradores del tubo, pero estando regulados mutuamente de modo que, entre cada matriz de estirado y el dispositivo estirador del tubo, de la matriz que va delante en cada caso, se mantenga en calidad de tracción antagónica una tensión de tracción ajustable de manera constante, que disminuye la resistencia del tubo a la deformación dentro de las matrices.
