Abstract

Anhydrous or aqs paste dyestuff composition for dyeing printing polyester / cellulosic fibres mixtures. M2A. Contain finely disprsed dyestuffs, water-sol. reactive dyestuffs and dispersants and/or emulsifiers. Preferred dispersants are salts of finaphthylmethane disulphonic acid, and esp. the Na salt, as emulsifiers, non-ionic cpds. e.g. those obtained by condensing 1 mol. of an organic substance with up to 40 mol. ethylene oxide, and cationic cpds. e.g. long chain alkylamine salts, are preferred. The preferred active and dispersed dyestuffs are stable over several weeks at pH 7 and temps. above 50 degrees C. Pref. the compositions contain 10-40 pt. reactive dyestuff, 10-40 pt. dispersed dyestuff 20-60 pt. dispersant and 0-5 pt. emulsifier, aqs. compositions contain 10-30 pt. reactive dyestuff, 10-30 pt. dispersed dyestuff, 5-30 pt. dispersant, 0-20 pt. emulsifier and 75-25, pref. 50-30 pt. water. - The compositions may be prepared by mixing the finely ground dyestuffs (of particle size 0.01-3, esp. 0.1-1.5 mu) with the dispersants and/or emulsifiers and opt. with water. - Yellow, red, blue and blue-green shades are obtainedon polyester/cotton mixtures.
