Abstract

Two or more zones of different humidity and temperature are producible within a textile machine by regulating the quantity and/or quality of conditioned air introduced into the zones through branch ducts 6a, 6b of a main duct 8 leading from a conditioning unit. The distribution of air flow between the branch ducts may be controlled by providing a regulating flap 9 at the junction between the ducts and/or by forming the branch ducts of different cross-sectional areas. The branch ducts may include supplementary air conditioning equipment.
