A leak detector tube structure comprising an elongated outer tubular member provided with circumferential fins extending radially outward and along the length of the member, to create longitudinally spaced fin portions, and an inner tubular member, coaxially engaged in said outer tube, in fixed relation with it, one of said tubes having longitudinally extending formations on a surface thereof in which it is in tight radial application with the other tube, said tubes and said formations defining circumferentially spaced leak detection steps and that they extend longitudinally, between the tubes.
