Abstract

Un material de pastilla de freno de disco hecha de un material de fricción sinterizado para un ferrocarril de alta velocidad que contiene, en % de masa, un 7,5% o más de Fe, un 50% o más de Cu, de entre un 5 a un 15% de grafito, de entre un 0,3 a un 7% de disulfuro de molibdeno, y de entre un 0,5 a un 10% de sílice, en donde Fe/Cu es de entre 0,15 a 0,40. en donde la relación entre una cantidad promedio de desgaste M y un coeficiente promedio de fricción F del material de fricción sinterizado satisface la fórmula: M <= 38,2 x F + 0,345 que se obtiene mediante una prueba de desgaste que tiene los pasos: preparar cuatro parejas de piezas de revestimiento cada una teniendo una longitud de 55 mm, una anchura de 38 mm, y un espesor de 15 mm; colocar las cuatro parejas de piezas de revestimiento en los discos de freno hechos de acero forjado teniendo un diámetro exterior de 400 mm, y un espesor de 20 mm, donde las cuatro parejas de piezas de revestimiento se colocan en posiciones de 170 mm que se extienden de manera radial desde el centro del disco de freno a intervalos constantes en una dirección axial rotacional del disco de freno; e imprimir las cuatro parejas de piezas de revestimiento en ambas superficies del disco de freno con una carga de 2,24 kN para frenar una rueda que gira con una velocidad inicial de 365 km/h, en donde el material de fricción sinterizado se sinteriza a una temperatura mayor a los 1000ºC.
