Un material de acero que tiene una composición química que, en porcentaje de masa, consiste en: C: 0,6 a 1,8%, Si: 0,05 a 1,00%, Mn: más de 25,0% y 45,0% o menos, Al: 0,003 a 0,06%, P: 0,03% o menos, S: 0,03% o menos, Cu: 0,5 a 3,0%, N: 0,10% o menos, V: 0 a 2,0%, Cr: 0 a 3,0%, Mo: 0 a 3,0%, Ni: 0 a menos de 1,5%, Nb: 0 a 0,5%, Ta: 0 a 0,5%, Ti: 0 a 0,5%, Zr: 0 a 0,5%, Ca: 0 a 0,005%, Mg: 0 a 0,005%, MTR: 0 a 0,01%, B: 0 a 0,015%, resto: Fe e impurezas, y que satisface la siguiente fórmula (i), en el que la microestructura metálica consiste en una monofase austenítica, el límite elástico es de 241 MPa o mayor, y el alargamiento uniforme es del 40% o mayor; 0,6 < C - 0,18V < 1,44 (i) en el que el símbolo de un elemento en la fórmula representa el contenido (% en masa) del elemento contenido en el material de acero, y se vuelve cero en el caso en el que el elemento no está contenido.
