Abstract

Procedimiento para preparar películas de poliuretano libres de aminas que comprenden las siguientes etapas: a) preparar un prepolímero que contiene de 2 a 10% en peso de grupos -NCO y de 10 a 100 meq de grupos carboxílicos por reacción de: i) al menos un poliol que contiene un grupo -COOH, ii) polioles no iónicos seleccionados entre polialquilen éter glicoles que tienen un peso molecular de 400 a 4.000 y poliéster polioles; iii) al menos un poliisocianato alifático o cicloalfático; b) dispersar el prepolímero en una solución acuosa que contiene un hidróxido de metal alcalino, a una temperatura entre 5° y 30°C, la cantidad de hidróxido de metal alcalino es suficiente para neutralizar al menos el 60% de los grupos carboxílicos del prepolímero; c) extender el prepolímero mediante la adición de una poliamina, manteniendo la temperatura entre 5 y 40°C, y obteniendo una dispersión acuosa de poliuretano del 20 al 50% en peso; d) añadir a la dispersión acuosa un agente de reticulación; e) extender la dispersión acuosa sobre un soporte sólido, tal como cuero, vidrio, papel, plástico, textil o metal, y secar.
