Abstract
Non-cakable solid salts are produced by spraying the salt with an aqueous solution of a salt of the condensation product of propylene oxide and a fatty amine (primary amine of 14-20 carbon atoms) or a mixture of such amines. The salts specified include sulphate, acetate, phosphate and formate. To the solution as above may be added a quantity of a higher fatty acid (aliphatic carboxylic acid having 14-20 carbon atoms) or the amide of such an acid. In examples saltpetre is coated with the sulphates salt of the condensation product of tallow amine and propylene oxide, the acetate salt of the above condensation product in conjunction with stearic acid amide, and also with stearic acid instead of its amides.
