Abstract

Método de formación de imágenes, que comprende: proporcionar una fuente (2) de rayos X; dirigir la fuente (2) de rayos X para definir al menos un haz (16) de rayos X con un primer y segundo borde opuestos; pasar el al menos un haz (16) de rayos X a través de una región de muestra de una muestra (10) sobre un detector (4) de rayos X con píxeles (12) o filas de píxeles correspondientes al, al menos, un haz de rayos X; obtener una primer imagen en una primera configuración en donde el al menos un haz (16) de rayos X incluye al menos un primer haz de rayos X donde el primer borde de cada primer haz de rayos X solapa un píxel (12) o fila de píxeles correspondiente en el detector (4) de rayos X, pero donde el segundo borde de cada primer haz de rayos X no solapa dicho píxel o fila de píxeles, y obtener una segunda imagen en una segunda configuración en donde el al menos un haz (16) de rayos X incluye al menos un segundo haz de rayos X donde el segundo borde de cada segundo haz de rayos X solapa el píxel (12 o fila de píxeles correspondiente en el detector (4) de rayos X, pero donde el primer borde de cada primer haz de rayos X no solapa dicho píxel o fila de píxeles, y obtener una imagen de fase a partir de la primera y segunda imagen de rayos X tomando las diferencias entre la primera y la segunda imagen de rayos X.
