Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un dispositivo combinado de protección eléctrica contra sobretensiones transitorias y de supervisión de una instalación eléctrica y su procedimiento de funcionamiento, de los que se emplean en instalaciones de tensión alterna monofásicas, o polifásicas, o bien de tensión continua, de los que están formados por cartuchos enchufables a una base fija o bien los que están formados por un monobloque, ambos tipos de dispositivos comprendiendo uno o más componentes de protección contra sobretensiones transitorias en cada cartucho enchufable o bien en el monobloque, que se caracteriza por comprender unos medios de supervisión configurados de modo que miden y procesan permanentemente uno o varios parámetros relativos al estado de la instalación eléctrica y al propio dispositivo de protección, y conectados a dichos medios de supervisión comprende también unos medios de indicación configurados de modo que indican uno o una combinación de parámetros de salida.
